A system of boardwalk-style walking trails, interpretive displays, gardens, water gardens and picnic areas are features of this protected marshlands park, which offers lookouts and provides educational programs for schools, groups and guided individual tours on request.
Located near the city of Sherbrooke and situated along the shores of Lake Saint-Francis, this park offers a host of outdoor pursuits. Visitors may enjoy hiking, cycling, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, fishing, snowshoeing, kayaking, canoeing and a number of other activities.
The municipal greenhouses include an array of colourful annuals and perennials in addition to other plants such as cactus, fruits and vegetables. The horticulturalists who maintain the gardens will answer questions for visitors. The greenhouses are open on weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm and the exterior gardens are open from May to October.
In addition to offering family downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing during the winter season, this expansive 202 ha (500 acre) public park features an array of walking paths, hiking and biking trails and picnic sites. Over 25 km (15 mi) of trails await exploration.
